Is there some real medical condition a man can have for which a doctor might prescribe masturbation as a remedy? I know when I took sexual health & psychology in uni, the lecturer mentioned that for men regular release is the healthiest thing for physical reasons as well as the psychosocial ones that apply to both genders, but is this some latter-day descendant of the "blue balls" story or is there a reason behind it? Such as, for example, infections in the tubar system being more likely if you don't orgasm, or clearing up easier if you do?
