My main character, was born to a thirteen year old girl;Who's parents raised her,as one of their children.In order to protect my protagonist as a child,and to avoid the possibility of shame and ostracisism.Her parents(or grandparents rather)have always used the family bible, with it's genalogy page;which has my main character listed as their daughter for offical purposes(i.e.:School enrollment,obtaining an ID, etc).
My question is, would such a practice still be feasible in 21st Century?Or would it be considered suspecious?
