Classical Music: Classical Singers active in 1992 (what)
Hey all! I'm looking for a male classical singer active in England and Scotland in 1992. Not knowing much about the classical music scene twenty years ago, I'm really not sure where to even start looking.
Specifically, I need a baritone capable of handling Spohr's 6 Songs, Op. 154 and most especially Spohr's Erlkoenig. For those who have never heard it, here's a YouTube video.
I've googled "Baritone active Scotland 1992", but the only plausible result I've found is Henry Herford, who apparently specializes in the music of Charles Ives.
