Timekeeping in humans

Okay, I know there are people who always know what time it is. What I'm wondering is if it would be possible for a person who's been travelling dimensions and time pretty much at random for about a year be able to keep track of the days, at least on his personal timeline. No outside markers would be possible. Basically, I'm trying to figure out if it's plausible at all that he'd know that it was the anniversary of his beginning his travels.

For those of you who know anything about the series, it's a Tsubasa Fai fic, so I'd have to include that his personal timeline won't necessarily coincide with that of all his companions.

ETA: Got it. I'll just slap my plotbunnies til they come up with something else for the scene. Thank you.
