I am working on a screenplay, and I am stuck with this one.
My character's mother fell off a cruise ship and drowned a few years previous to the beginning of the story. My protag, Rita, believes it was her fault, and her guilt prompts her to start saving up to run away to...... blank.
This place has to be somewhere that doesn't remind her of her mother, and drowning, and guilt. where is it impossible to drown? The desert! I did some google-fu on desert resorts- most were luxury places in Dubai, but they seem to be pretty near the Persian Gulf. I woudl just ilke the place she chooses to be as stress-free ( and therefore, ocean free!) as possible.
What do you guys think?
