musical term used in televised (U.S.A.) football

Hi! I asked this question some years ago but could not provide a sound clip. Obviously unable to search since this is an audio thing, and all references talk about, well, sports. Now I've found a clip.

The (NFL) Monday Night Football theme has a distinctive second verse used for any ad or opening longer than a sting. Does anyone know the term for the violin crescendo played in it? The song *might* be "Heavy Action", originally composed for the BBC's Superstars.

The clip is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOmcLIzIuzc
The violins are from 25 - 40 seconds.

Thank you!!
