Historical: Serial killers Burying Victims Alive

Hi,

I'm writing a case fic where a killer is burying his victims alive. Motives aside, I'm looking for references of historical crimes of this but needed them to be before the 20th century. My searches, however, have been coming up with the same few modern search results or references to saints Chrysanthus and Daria as there were new discoveries. I'm a bit overwhelmed and hoping this community can help me.

SEARCH TERMS USED:
murder buried alive
serial buried alive
famous crimes buried alive

SITES SEARCHED:
Wikipedia
Murder-pedia
http://themanyfacesofdeath.blogspot.com
BBC News

RESULTS GOT BUT NOT HELPFUL:
Rapist buried alive in Boliva
Premature burials
Accidental burials
Safety coffins
Duns Scotus
thanatomimesis
Cholera
fear of buried alive
Saints Chrysanthus and Daria

LOOKING FOR:
specific pre-20th Century crimes of victims buried alive to use as historical references, but not pivotal to story's plot, just for conversation content. This question is not region specific. Just anything before the 20th century.

I know I just threw a lot of information out there and this is crazy specific, but I am at a loss at finding what I need.

Question concerning cigarette brands/connotations/stereotypes...

Hello, all.

Just a quick research question: what brand of cigarettes is the son of a powerful mafia boss likely to smoke? The character in question comes from a family that enjoys flaunting their class as well as their wealth.

I've been to the TV Tropes page on Good Smoking, Evil Smoking and got nothing. This page on cigarette brands/stereotypes has offered a few wildly-differing suggestions, but not really what I'm looking for. Last, but not least, Google indicates that Michael Corleone of The Godfather (the largest source of inspiration for the character) smokes unfiltered Camels. Does that sound right?

A couple more Google searches indicates that Treasurer cigarettes are the priciest in the U.S., but I'm not sure of their connotations.

On that note: anyone know of any high-class eyeglasses brands that would fit the same character?
