Is there an Egyptian god/goddess who was themself sacrificed?

So, in some ancient mythologies, you'll have a deity, demi-god or hero around who was said to be killed and revived every day, like Prometheus as an example. I'm wondering if there is anyone like that within the Egyptian pantheon, probably in the lesser deities, since I've never heard of them.

I looked through Wikipedia for an hour or so, going through their articles on the Egyptian pantheon members and I tried googling things like "Egyptian god sacrifice"... which naturally got me a lot of sites talking about whether there's any evidence that Egyptians ever did human-sacrifice. Not what I'm looking for.

In the wikipedia articles, I did find a brief reference to Mnevis, who sounds like he was the personification of the sacred bulls sacrificed in Heliopolis, but I'm not totally sure if I'm interpreting the text right.

Can anybody tell me more about Mnevis or does anybody know any other deities that might have had a Prometheus daily-sacrifice thing going on (not counting Ra's day-night life-death journey through the underworld.)

Suicide statistics

Hi all, first time NaNoWrMo-er here with a wondering.

My google-fu was inconclusive but maybe some of you are better than I am. I am looking for a comparative statistic of suicide rates among recent college graduates with as wide of a range as from the year 2000-current.

I searched "recent college student suicide rates, US," "college graduate suicide rates," "suicide rates, US, 2005-2009"

Thanks for your help.

Jobs that black people could have in the victorian age.

I am writing a story set in England, during the Victorian age.

I am considering developing a character, English nationality yet of black descent, who works as a butler or some other domestic type within an upper middle class household.

Would this be plausible for a black man to work at during Victorian England?

I've tried searching online with terms, such as, "Africans Victorian age," "blacks, Victorian age," "black people, Victorian age," and "African people Victorian age." I tried all that and got nothing.

Past-life regression questions

Hey all,

long-time lurker, first time poster. Hopefully you guys can help me.

I'm currently writing a script which involves the main character undergoing hypnotherapy and past-life regression. I would wondering if anyone could give me an idea on what questions would be asked of the character and what sort of progression the questions would be asked in.

If it helps, the past life he first goes to is set in the 1890's

searched: past life pregression questions, past life regression techniques, hypnotherapy

Thanks in advance!
