Psychological affect of being catheterized while kidnapped...?

This is my first posting here -- have to say I have loved reading all the interesting information that I've come across here -- and... well, I have absolutely no idea how to research this question as, I think, it's more of a psychological issue than something that's been researched and thought this would be the place to ask... One would think this would be a no-brainer type question but I thought I should probably check, just in case. :D

Congenital Insensitivity To Pain and Sex

Setting, though it's not terribly relevant: Japan, modern day

Search terms used: congenital insensitivity to pain, + sex, + pleasure

I looked at: Wiki pages for CIP/CIPA, medical descriptions of the disease, a few blogs.

I have a character that was born with Congenital Insensitivity to Pain. My question is whether this disease simply prevents pain from being registered, or all sensations aside from pressure? Can he feel pleasure from sensations, since that's more a psychological reaction, or is that out of the realm of possibility? Can he have sex?

Any information would be great, thanks. :)
