Relationship between "dream time" and "real time"

Setting: Guiyang, China; modern day
Searched terms:  relationship dream real time; dreamtime realtime compare; dream real time correlation

I'm writing an alternate ending for a story where the character wakes up from a coma, revealing that the story had all been a dream.  The dream consisted of meeting a fiancee and then followed their lives up until the death of his wife and then himself about 45 years later.

What I'm wondering is if there is a set correlation between real time and "dream time", aka if there is something like 1 real hour = x time in dream.  I don't want him to be the age he "dies" at when he wakes up.  I actually want him to only be in the coma for a year or two.

Bottom line: is there any way to tell how long it would take for someone to dream 45 years of their life?

Thank you.

ETA:  Thank you for your input, everyone.  I feel much more confident about the plausibility of cramming so much into a dream.  Thanks!

Working at a furniture store.

One of my characters is a salesman at a furniture store. What I need to know is just basic, day-to-day things. I've tried searching Google, but the closest I've come up with is a discussion on how much money this kind of job makes. I've worked in retail myself, but I'm sure there are differences in operations between stores that sell different things.

Thanks to anyone who can help!
