So, I searched the "freedict" translator and some other translator (which I couldn't find the actual site name for) for the Latin translation of the word "hybrid" (if there is one) and neither one could find one, so I'm a little stuck considering I speak no Latin (well, I can say a few phrases that most know, but nothing of actual use). So I'm asking if anyone knows or knows where I can find a fairly accurate Latin equivalent of the word "hybrid".
Um...setting for the story is a bit scattered location wise (it's mostly in the midwestern US, but also occurs for a chunk of the story on a vampire-controlled island [royal vampire family has a palace, and I wasn't going to put it in the US with everything else] that is uninhabited by humans), but the time is roughly modern-day (give or take a couple years).
Anything that basically means that the person is of mixed origins is fine, but hybrid is the only word in English that I thought of to describe it.
If you can help, thanks!
