Of Thai and mispronounced words

I have no idea how to google this, since I guess it's mostly a personal experience kind of thing.

I used to have a friend who was born and raised in Russia who had moved to the US within the past couple years, and he spoke perfect English...except for certain words. Things like pronouncing iron as "eye-ROHN" and clover as "CLAW-ver." Thing was, aside from these few scattered words, he had no discernable accent at all.

Now, imagine this friend was Thai instead of Russian.

What would those scattered words likely be and how would they be mangled?
