The habits of birds

When I google and wiki for birds, I'm told what their markings are, where they can be found, what they usually eat, etc. I'm also, hwoever, looking for things like the maturation rate of individual species (i.e., how long does it take for eggs to hatch, and how long it takes for chicks to fledge and mature); their habits and social behaviors (like chickens' habit of bullying weaker and smaller members of the flock---is this universal behavior among all birds?) I'm specifically looking at the tree sparrow, but I'd love to know if there's a resource out there that catalogues these things.
